1. MPR hosts BBC’s “Africa Have Your Say” in St. Paul

    The BBC World Service and Minnesota Public Radio News invite you to be part of the live radio audience for a special presentation of Africa Have Your Say on Wednesday, January 26, 9:30-11:00 a.m.

    Portions of the worldwide call-in program will be broadcast live from the UBS Forum at MPR headquarters, 480 Cedar Street in St. Paul.  During the broadcast you’ll hear young Somalis in Minnesota, London and Mogadishu discuss the future of Somalia and their own place in the Somali Diaspora.

    This event serves as a follow-up to MPR’s series Civil War Kids: Young Somalis in Minnesota which aired a year ago.

    Its a free event, but one needs to make reservations as seating is limited.
